Cette Salamandre Géante, du haut de ses 1,40 mètres et 52 kg, n’est pas le plus gros spécimen recensé mais ce qui a fortement attiré l’attention des scientifiques c’est son nage puisqu’avec plus de 200 ans, elle serait née au début du XIX è siècle.
