Un Britannique de 53 ans traverse le Pacifique à la rame en 209 jours

Après un long périple de 209 jours soit pratiquement 7 mois passés en mer, le Britannique John Beeden est enfin arrivé en Australie.

John Beeden a tenté et réussi la traversée de l’Océan Pacifique à la Rame à bord de Socks 2, un petit bateau de 6 mètres. John Beeden avait déjà réalisé la traversée de l’Océan Atlantique il y a désormais près de 3 ans. En traversant le Pacifique, c’est plus de 13 000 kilomètres qu’il a parcouru avant d’arriver dans la ville de Cairns dans le nord-est de l’Australie.
